What:
Yearly we host a string of miscellaneous wine tasting events, all of which feature some unique fixture or some specific theme to it. This time, we will be throwing an event that will be based on presenting the best Californian wines, listed in an ascending order.

Let’s start by announcing which wines will be featured there:

#1: Shafer Hillside Select Cabernet Sauvignon
This Cabernet seems like the most optimal choice, both quality and price-wise!

#2: Kapcsandy Family Vineyards Robertas Reserve
That’s definitely the best Merlot with a fruit flavor!

#3: Saxum James Berry Red
A perfect Syrah/Grenache blend, with 2007 being their best year so far!

#4: Sine Qua Non Just for the Love of It.
This Rhone varietal, produced in Ventura, CA is definitely one of the most famous wines in California!

#5: Screaming Eagle
A cult cabernet brand and a bigger than average dosage.

#6: Ridge Monte Bello
A nice varietal, that gets even better as it gets older!

#7: Chateau Montelena Estate Cabernet Sauvignon
One more Cabernet, that’s similar to Bordeaux and gets only better as it ages.

#8: Rhys Chardonnay Alpine Vineyard
Though the winery that makes this one is more widely recognized for their Pinot Noir, this white wine they do is so far the best Chardonnay in California!

#9: Abreu Cabernet Sauvignon Thorevilos
A great young wine with a 20 years margin for fine aging…

#10: Harlan Estate Wine
Known for its 1994 vintage…

#11: Marcassin Chardonnay Marcassin Vineyard
So far a 2nd best white wine on the list.

#12: Joseph Phelps Insignia
One of the best Cabernets made in the Napa valley…

#13: Alban Vineyards Syrah Reva Vineyard
A Rhone varietal, which is just meant to age in the cellar for some time till its opened…

#14: Kongsgaard Chardonnay The Judge
A complex and ethereal white wine…

#15: Scarecrow Cabernet Sauvignon
One of the rarest (and best) Sauvignons in the state…

#16: Saxum James Berry Vineyard Bone Rock
A delicious and rambunctious wine…

#17: Kapcsandy Family Vineyards Cabernet Sauvignon State Lane
A red wine similar to the First Growth Bordeaux…

#18: Dalla Valle Maya Red Wine
Delicious and complex enough to be on the list…

#19: Pride Mountain Claret Reserve
A fine claret with a rich flavor…

#20: Dominus Red Wine
This wine’s elegance, exuberance and ripe fruity taste say it all…

    sounds very romantic!

    1. Yep, I agree. I\’m a guy, and I look forward to such atmosphere as well! Though, not more than to my perfect, juicy, medium rare steak…)
